Evening on Sgurr an Fhidhleir |

The precipitous summit of Sgurr an Fhidhleir ("The Fiddler") provides the best views of the Iverpollaidh & Assynt mountains, with the shoulder of Beinn an Eoin on the right pointing at Stac Pollaidh, while Suilven lies beyond. These images were made in heavily overcast conditions, while waiting for the sun to drop beneath the clouds for ten minutes at sunset (see the colour versions...)
